A day at the races
- The racing season runs from March to November, with most races held on the weekends in the Great Sound
- Our island is the finish line for several major races beginning in the US, including the Newport to Bermuda Ocean Yacht Race, the Marion to Bermuda Race and the Bermuda Ocean Race
- One of the most anticipated events is the spectator-friendly Argo Group Gold Cup, now in its 55th year on Hamilton Harbour. Top-ranking match-racing skippers compete with Bermudians for prize money in this race hosted by the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club. October 9 - 14, 2007. Dates will be posted for October 2008 once they are confirmed.
